Practice Areas:
Born in Washington D.C. and raised in Boulder, Colorado and San Diego, California, Ben has experienced the country from coast to coast. He graduated from Multnomah University in Portland, Oregon with a Bachelors of Arts in Bible Education and earned his law degree from the University of San Diego, School of Law. Along the way he sold books door to door, worked in fish canneries, managed properties, developed international markets for computer products, briefed small business owners on legislative affairs, and clerked in litigation firms. He opened his law office in Palmer, Alaska in 1993 and is admitted to practice in both Alaska and California (inactive status in CA).
Ben enjoys providing a meaningful service to his clients through the practice of law. As a personal injury attorney, he helps injured Alaskans recover financially. And through his adoption practice, Ben helps build families. In all that he does for clients, Ben is committed to providing personal care and diligent legal help. From his Palmer office Ben serves clients in many areas of Alaska, including the Mat-Su Valley, the Anchorage area, the rest of the road system, and bush Alaska.
Ben loves the small-town, pioneering feel of Alaska’s communities. He and his wife Diana (of McGrath) felt drawn to Palmer to raise their family of seven children, charmed by its history and the beauty of its mountain/agricultural setting. Treating each client with care and respect, Ben understands what it means to serve the community on an individual basis, one by one.
